We follows a comprehensive process for brand protection to ensure that our clients’ brands remain secure and their online presence is safeguarded.
1. Daily Monitoring and Scanning
As a trademark watchdog, we scan for infringing domain names, typos, and phishing scams. Our daily monitoring and scanning process allows us to identify potential threats to our clients’ brands proactively.
2. Analysing Threats
We evaluate detected infringements, gather evidence, and prepare enforcement strategy.
3. Contact and Takedown
We contact the domain name owners directly through the registrar platform, as domain privacy protection can make it difficult to identify the owner. We apply pressure to the owner to cease their infringing behavior and prevent further damage to our clients’ brands.
4. Take Action
If the domain owner does not respond to our initial contact, we take further action. We directly warn the registrar and advertising sources, and some registrars can suspend infringing domain names. We also strengthen communication with the infringing party and may be able to recover the domain name at the registration cost. We can also use low-cost legal means to recover the domain name if the infringing party is in China and has registered trademarks.
5. Take Serious Action
If all other methods fail, we take serious action to recover the domain name. We use the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) or even the court system to recover the domain name.
